McLaren F1: Record Breaker

How fast could it go?

From January 26, 2017 —In 1998 McLaren asked Le Mans winner Andy Wallace to drive the F1 and answer that hotly debated question: How fast could it go?

It’s been 25 years since the McLaren F1 first redefined what was possible in a road car. To celebrate this momentous anniversary, McLaren Automotive produced this film of the story behind Andy Wallace and his incredible record-breaking 240.14 mph top speed run.
